Starting at the top of the Super Tacks AS1 Elbow Pads, CCM went with an articulated Dual-Layer bicep using molded foam. This construction provides players with maximum comfort and protection in the bicep area!
Just below the bicep protection is the JDP reinforced elbow cap! This lightweight, pro-level construction helps disperse the force of direct impacts away from the elbow joints. Additionally, CCM incorporated their highly-regarded D30 Smart Material into the elbow cap as well, enhancing the level of protection even further!
Moving down to the forearm, the Super Tacks AS1 Elbow Pads utilize a compressed molded HD foam that provides elite protection all the way down the entire forearm to just above the cuff of your gloves. The D30 Smart Material was used in this section of the pads too once again, giving players even more protection against the wear and tear of a hockey game!
Holding everything in place on the Super Tacks AS1 Elbow Pads is CCM’s innovative strapping system! The middle lock strap, bicep strap, and length-adjustable forearm strap provide players with an anatomical, 360 degree fit. This keeps the elbow pads close to the body to ensure they stay in place allowing for maximum protection. This adjustable forearm strap also allows players to customize how the pad fits and feels while in use!
